They are absolutely amazing twins, if you ask me. I am really impressed! They share numerous bodily organs as a result of an extremely rare case. Wondering how they cope with the public eyes and being focus of the community and doctors. I am truly admire their courage.
Abigail “Abby” Loraine Hensel and Brittany “Britty” Lee Hensel (born 7 March 1990, Carver County, Minnesota, United States), are dicephalic conjoined twins. Brittany is the left twin, and Abigail is the right twin. They have two spines which join at the pelvis. They have two stomachs, three lungs, and two arms. (A third, underdeveloped and useless arm between their heads was amputated in infancy.)

Do the girls have to wear a brace to support their spines? I noticed in watching their videos there appears to be a bump down by the small of their back. I thought it might be a brace as I know they had surgery for scoliosis when they were twelve .
Who feels what from the waist down?
Like, is it split 50/50 down the middle? Or shared?
From what I’ve read, each feels on only on her side.
It’s two people sharing a body, not one person with two heads. But apparently the nerves to each girl’s brain grow on her side only.

This is how to determine between the nuture verses nature thing the psychologists have been arguing about for so long.
If it’s nuture, then they’d have exactly the same personality as they had to experience the same things.
If it’s nature, or a mixture of the two, then they’d have different personalities.
I am wondering how these two lovely girls are doing? I am so proud of the incredible courage these two possess. Not to mention the job these two parents have done. They seem to lead a “normal” (whatever that means) lives. Kudos to mom and dad. Kudos to the girls! I am not sure how old they are. I am interested in each girls personality and how they deal with that. Each girl has her own personality and desires. How do they comprimise? Wow, gives a whole new meaning to “kids getting along”. I am a personality person, and that is where my interest lies. Girls, you two have to be the bravest people I have ever hear of. You deserve the best life has to offer. keep up the good work. I saw the girls amazing story on cable. The most amazing thing is they each control their side of the body (one arm - one leg) How the manage to walk, ride a bike and drive a car is beyond me. They each have a distinct and different personality. They are truely remarkable young women. I wish them all the best for their future.
These are truly remarkable teens. From what I saw, they get along much better than my girls do!! And to be able to play softball & do everything else they do. Wow. I am very humbled & quite impressed. Good job, family !!

They are bothe truly remarcable girls. Though I have to ask, if they have 2 hearts what would happen if one twin died before the other one did?
gosh…what can you say …we go through life think sometimes how hard we have got things then you see and read about these lovely young women…i know really very little about them ..but like another comment made i feel humbled and slightly ashamed that at times i feel sorry for myself …good luck little angels…
